Experience, Intuition, Wisdom
Over the years we all pick up pieces of the puzzle.
You know, rules to live by: Change
your oil every 3,000 miles; expect the worst, hope for the best; don't
put all your eggs into one basket. Hmmm. After buying more automobile
engines than automobiles, after experiencing numerous successes and
setbacks, and after dropping the investment basket at least once, or,
just after years of careful observation, we may all begin seeing
patterns, or develop insight into our decision making.
However, we cannot all be as experientially well versed as we may need,
to cover all of our bases, so to speak. It's always wise to add
firepower to your arsenal of specialized tactics to maneuver through the
combat zone of everyday life here at the turn of century.
Here are shortcuts to the empirical development of fitness wisdom, a
cache of 50 fabulous fitness tips. Several of these tips may be the
catalyst you've needed to blast off your current training plateau,
upward to the pinnacle of fitness. A few may be common sensibilities
that lessen athletic aggravation, grief and / or pain. Some may save
your life. Mostly, though, these tips are pieces of a large health and
fitness puzzle. As you incorporate these pieces into your lifestyle, an
image begins to take shape. Connecting more puzzle chips, one at a time,
or several at once hints at the totality of the rendering. The finished
piece is you, fulfilled and consistently and confidently making
appropriate choices for your health, performance and well being.
Remember that fitness is a process, a lifestyle, or a journey and that
you are always growing. Awareness and knowledge inspire growth. Use
these tips to facilitate and perpetuate your forward movement.
Here is the axiom to go with the others, above. (I lifted it from the
movie, "National Lampoon's Animal House".) Ready? Here goes: "Knowledge
is good". Below is some knowledge that may prove to be quite good for
you. Enjoy.
